Rightfully so, in thinking about a retreat, you might feel some combination of excitement, nerves, hope, and curiosity.
Plus, it’s a big investment, and we all know it’s not easy to get a week off.
But the truth is, nothing can ever describe the experience.
Sure, we can show you photos, yoga, schedules, testimonials, describe mystical experiences, or ‘the process’, but none of that communicates the essence of such an experience.
So, in a fun attempt to capture that essence, we asked some of our past guests to summarize their experience with us in 1 word.

What does a day at a psychedelic retreat actually look like?
Days begin gently with light morning practice such as yoga or meditation, followed by nourishing meals, time in nature, and group sharing. Ceremonies happen in the evening and are held by experienced facilitators. The following day is set aside for rest, journaling, and integration conversations.
How intense is a plant medicine ceremony?
Intensity varies by medicine and by person. Ayahuasca can be physically and emotionally demanding and often lasts four to six hours. 5-MeO-DMT is shorter but highly potent. Psilocybin tends to be more reflective. Every Behold ceremony is held in a safe, screened, and supported container.
Will I feel different when I come home?
Most guests describe a settled clarity in the weeks that follow, along with a renewed sense of purpose and emotional openness. The real work begins at home through integration, where the insights from ceremony take root in daily life.
