Retreat Location
The retreat setting in Costa Rica.
There is something about Costa Rica that makes it one of the most trusted settings in the world for this kind of work. The country carries a gentleness - Pura Vida, pure life.
Our retreat centre in Esterillos sits within that energy. Eco-consciously designed, surrounded by jungle, close to the Pacific where nature is an active part of the experience.
- A saltwater infinity pool for quiet reflection between sessions.
- Farm-to-table meals grown from our own regenerative food forest.
- Walking trails for the kind of integration that happens best in movement.
- A dedicated ceremonial space that has held hundreds of guests through some of the most important moments of their lives.
- Private, screen-free accommodation.

Safety & Screening
Safety is foundational to every Behold retreat.
Before anyone joins a Behold Ayahuasca retreat in Costa Rica, they complete a thorough medical and psychological screening. This is how we ensure the experience will serve you, and that we are equipped to care for you fully throughout.
Our staff-to-guest ratio is among the lowest in the industry. Emergency protocols are in place at every retreat. Our facilitators bring decades of experience across ceremonial practice, trauma-informed support, and modern therapeutic approaches.
We only operate in areas where Ayahuasca is not scheduled as an illegal substance, so your focus can remain entirely on your experience.

Integration & Aftercare
Transformation does not end when the retreat concludes.
What happens inside ceremony is a beginning, not an ending. The insights that surface need time and support to take root in daily life.
From the moment you book, a dedicated Guest Services team member walks this path with you. They are available before you arrive, present during your retreat, and reachable in the weeks that follow. Post-retreat integration support and access to our Alumni community mean you are never making sense of this alone.
