Flow & Structure
Ayahuasca Retreat flow and daily structure.
Your week in the Yucatán unfolds slowly and with purpose. Each day is shaped to move you gently through arrival, preparation, ceremony, and the integration that follows. Nothing is rushed.
You arrive at the retreat property, settle into your room, and meet the team and your fellow guests. The evening is spacious, an introduction to the land, the facilitators, and the shape of the week ahead.
The morning opens with gentle movement and preparation practices. You meet one-on-one with a facilitator, and group workshops help ground the intentions you have carried with you to Mexico. As evening arrives, so does the first Ayahuasca ceremony, held within a fully structured and deeply supported space.
The morning is reserved for integration, with group sharing, quiet reflection, and time to let the first ceremony settle into the body. The afternoon is yours for rest and personal processing. The second Ayahuasca ceremony will take place in the evening.
An entire day devoted to rest, reflection, and integration. Guests move at their own pace with optional group support available throughout. This is a day of spaciousness, allowing everything that has surfaced to begin to settle.
The day opens with guided breathwork and continued integration practices, gently preparing the body and heart for the final ceremony. The third Ayahuasca ceremony is held in the evening, bringing the ceremonial arc of your week to a close.
A final integration session allows guests to make sense of what emerged across the week and begin preparing for the return home. The retreat closes with a shared gathering in the evening.
Breakfast together, then departure. Your Guest Services support continues long after you leave the Yucatán.

Retreat Location
The retreat setting in Mexico.
Mexico carries an unbroken thread with plant medicine that stretches back thousands of years through Mayan, Aztec, and Indigenous healing lineages.
Our retreat property sits deep within the jungles of the Yucatán Peninsula, minutes from the Caribbean and far from tourist corridors. The space and surroundings are safe and were chosen for their seclusion, their stillness, and the way their natural surroundings hold you rather than pull at your attention.
- Lush tropical grounds with walking paths through the jungle
- Outdoor gathering spaces shaded by natural canopy
- A dedicated ceremonial space built for intimate, small-group work
- A traditional temazcal for pre-ceremony cleansing
- Comfortable, nature-integrated accommodation designed for rest and quiet

Safety & Screening
Safety is foundational to every Behold retreat.
Safety is the foundation everything else rests on. Every guest joining a Behold Ayahuasca retreat in Mexico completes a thorough medical and psychological screening before acceptance, and our team personally reviews every application to ensure the experience will truly serve you.
We maintain one of the highest staff-to-guest ratios in the industry, giving you the highest 1:1 care and support (and love!). Our Mexico retreats are led by experienced facilitators including Puka Hampiy, Medicine Man of the Wanka Nation of the Central Andes, whose practice weaves traditional Andean-Amazonian shamanism with modern therapeutic depth. Emergency protocols are in place at every retreat.
We only operate in areas where Ayahuasca is not scheduled as an illegal substance, so your focus can remain entirely on your experience.

Integration & Aftercare
Transformation does not end when the retreat concludes.
What happens inside ceremony is a beginning, not an ending. The insights that surface need time and support to take root in daily life.
From the moment you book, a dedicated Guest Services team member walks this path with you. They are available before you arrive, present during your retreat, and reachable in the weeks that follow. Post-retreat integration support and access to our Alumni community mean you are never making sense of this alone.
