How It Works

How a Private Retreat Works

Your dedicated team and yourself (+ group) would have a conversation around your intentions, what medicine feels aligned, and what kind of setting and timeline would serve you best. From there, we build your retreat together.

Choose from Ayahuasca, 5-MeO-DMT (Bufo), or Psilocybin, or a combination tailored to your goals. Our team will guide you toward the medicine that best matches your intentions, your experience level, and where you are in your life. We only work with medicines in locations where they are not scheduled as illegal substances.

Private retreats are typically held at one of our established retreat properties in Costa Rica, Portugal, or Mexico. If your needs require a specific location or setup, we are open to exploring options that serve you. The setting is always chosen with your safety, privacy, and comfort as the primary considerations.

Your private facilitation team is hand-selected for you. This includes experienced ceremony facilitators, a Guest Services team member dedicated entirely to your retreat, and any additional support professionals (therapists, bodyworkers, medical advisors) that your program calls for. We maintain one of the highest staff-to-guest ratios in the industry across all our programs, and private retreats take that even further.

Private retreats are available year-round and are not bound by our group retreat calendar. You choose the dates that work for your life. Duration is flexible, typically ranging from three nights to a full week depending on the medicine and your goals.

The same thorough preparation and integration support that defines our group retreats is built into every private retreat. Medical and psychological screening, structured preparation, and post-retreat integration with your dedicated team member. The retreat is one part of a longer arc of care that begins the moment you reach out and continues long after you return home.

Regardless of the privacy of this type of retreat, ALL safety protocols are still in place and if we determine someone is unfit to move forward, we do not proceed - no exceptions.
